Quick note to say a few things I was just thinkin.
1. Re Violet: Do you guys talk about me enough around her? I want to make sure she can say my name easily when she gets older. I read in a book recently that babies have to hear names a lot before they will say them on their own. Maybe print out this photo of me and hang it in her crib. I know... I will make a video tape that you can play for her on a loop. Get a TV and put it next to the crib. I'll have it for you in a few days.
2. Car accident: My fault. Not real bad. Lesson learned: Yellow does not mean 'go real fast'.
3. A raisin dropped in a fresh glass of soda will bounce up and down continually from the bottom of the glass to the top.
4. I love and miss you all.

Chaz, why are you so funny? I actually LOL...
hi chaz
love you chaz
chaz, chaz, chaz, you are a riot! Speaking of car accidents, did you hear what happened to me on the way back from Arizona? I will copy my email to my mom here: [After Palm Springs, going over the mountain toward Anza (I was taking Garrett to Aguanga)]It was snowing. A sign said chains required, so we pulled over. another car that was coming from the opposite direction pulled over where we were and i asked them if it was safe to drive that way. they said, yes, if you go real slow. so that's what we did. The road was beginning to get very icy and slippery. A little ways further, we saw a car that had slid off the road and landed on its side in a gully. And, then about that time, my car started slipping, sliding and we slid to the side of the road, right into a snow bank. We were very lucky that it landed in a snow bank and not in a gully. But, we were completely, totally STUCK. My car would not budge! I tried and tried to get it out, but the wheels would just grind and not move an inch. So, there we were, late at night, stuck, and our cell phones would not work. We got out of the car on my side (Garrett's side was slammed against the snow bank). We tried to remove the snow from around the tires, but it didn't help. My car just would NOT move. So, there we sat on that winding road. It was dark and I had to leave my lights on so other cars would not run into us. After about an hour a CHP came by and offered to push us out. He asked us where were going. I told him Aguanga. So, with his SUV, he got behind my car and pushed us out of the snow, but it still seemed as though my tires were locked. My car was making a terrible noise as he was trying to push us down the road. But, then I got going and he followed right behind us while I did not more than 10 miles an hour, still slipping and sliding ccasionally. When we finally got to the 371, we turned left and he didn't follow us anymore. But, then the snow really started pouring down (like in Anza). Visibility was almost zero. Anyway, eventually, of course we made it. But, what an ordeal. My bumper needs to be repaired due to a crack in it from him pushing me. $500 deductible.
is that true about the raisin?
Linnette-What a nightmare!
