An oxymoron is two words that have the exact oppsite meaning but when used together, they convey the idea better than if not used to together. So, I'm thinking this would be a fun game: Someone will start an ongoing conversation, and as we discuss the subject, we have to use oxymorons. See if you can find the oxymoron in this sentence: "The busy couple had to make time to be alone together."

alone together is the answer.

OK, so I guess I'll be the one to start this ongoing conversation.

Here goes...

I read recently that it's illegal in Austrailia not to vote, which is seriously funny to me. That's their only choice, isn't that absurd?

This is a fine mess that President Bush has gotten us into, you know, the Middle East situation. I will never again trust that man. He is a real phony.

btw, there were four oxymorons in the above post.

Very good, Kelly. Except for the President Bush one. The other one was "Middle East."
