Leo, Ahh, another year has passed and you are seasoning. Birthdays always gives me mixed feelings. On one hand with age comes wisdom and experience. On the other youth allows ignorance as bliss, which is cool in its own right.
We have reached a crossroads in our lives. We must choose to pursue our youthful ambitions or sell out to the corporate moguls and become one of…..them. The reason I bring this up is that fateful night a couple of weeks ago, when I realized in my heart, Leo is a natural born entertainer.
Now my credentials may not be fully credible, or even existent for that matter. But I do hold opinions. I am a rather quality purveyor of advice. As you attorney I advise you to quit your job with the rail road and pursue a singing carrier. (Contingent on me playing guitar in your band of course). I know you’ll miss wearing the funny hat, riding the rail all day, rousing the hobos and tooting the horn. But I’m telling you, Everlong sends chills up my spine, every time I hear you sing it.
So that’s the scoop man. That’s my advice, I say take it and run. It’s better to regret something you’ve tried and failed than to regret not having tried at all. You only live once my friend; these choices follow us for the rest of our lives. Fire up the karaoke machine and sing all day at the top of your lungs. It rehearsal time and the world is your oyster.
Leo! To say "Happy Birthday" sounds so bland and mechanical, but it's all the originality I got, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You are a excellent addition to our family!
I thought I might say a few words... Drew, thanks for that everlong entro, ummm..............Yes, I will do it- It's time to ... START UP THE BAND!!!!!
Leo I book a gig for you at Main Street, this Friday at 8pm hope you have been practicing. Wardrobe changes required. I figure it will help limber you up before your debut at Violet's Birthday.

We're on a mission from God.
John,
The blog IS hoppin' these days. I know what I'm doing this New Year's Eve, I'm hanging out here. Trainor Place is going off.
Mom,
Thanks for attaching the singing photo of Leo. It provides all bloggers with a ready reference for Drew's birthday advice to Leo.

I hope I can still fit into my leather pants.
