This is crazy. It isn't just that he is dressed as a woman on several different occasions..it is that, he really looks like he is enjoying it too.

It appears Giuliani’s presidency would more closely resemble J Edgar Hoover’s legacy than Ronald Reagan’s. Allow me to elaborate:

“It wasn't until after his death that Americans learned J. Edgar Hoover was a secret transvestite, but long before that, it meant bad news for some FBI recruits. The alleged discovery of Hoover's long-lost diary has revealed how he may have misused his power as FBI director to satisfy his own twisted cravings, destroying the lives of many recruits in the law-enforcement agency. The diary purports that from at least the mid-1930s onward, Hoover would require selected agents to take on special undercover assignments, often lasting for years, as women or drag queens in high heels and skirts. Sources speculate that Hoover, unable to dress openly as a woman, forced some of his underlings to take up his freakish habit so he'd feel more normal. He reportedly enjoyed training these agents himself, selecting their outfits, applying makeup and fixing hairdos. Most men hated these assignments and many were threatened with firing or even jail time for their cooperation.”

OK, Carol I just saw that Michelle Malkin thing again. I saw it before but didn't make the connection. I didn't take note of her name, she was such an idiot. I tuned her out. Leave it to Fox News to give her credibility though.

Read that whole article you guys. Can someone please do the homework for me and find out if this is all really true? Mom, you are good at that. Get us the facts. This may need a post of it's own. I'll leave that up to your discretion

The Founding Fathers never intended for our central government to have its own federal police force, and thus created none. Though it dates from the days of Teddy Roosevelt, the FBI was a small agency of extremely limited function until J. Edgar Hoover led it to prominence fighting the bootleggers of the 1920s.

The Bureau might have dwindled away again after alcohol was re-legalized, but the cross-dressing Hoover and his boyfriend and assistant chief, Clyde Tolson, developed a legendary expertise at assembling classified dossiers on congressional leaders, the better to blackmail them into assuring the agency’s continued (and ever-expanding) funding.

Hoover – who denied the existence of the Mafia and was extremely reluctant to aid the fight for Civil Rights in the South in the 1960s, who knew or should have known of the plans of New Orleans mobsters to assassinate President Kennedy but did nothing to inform either the president or Attorney General Robert Kennedy (whom Hoover despised) – is still honored with his name on the Bureau’s Washington headquarters.

(Rumor has it that Hoover gave the Mafia a pass for many years because mob boss Meyer Lansky had a photo of Hoover and Tolson, second in command at the FBI, having sex.)

"The Straight Dope" website says that Hoover's cross dressing has never been substantiated and some historians say it's an urban legend. More credence can be given to his homosexuality, they say.
