Yes, Tavia, this ad is much better, in my opinion

The Constitution in the background is a nice effect. I also like that its plain, no fades in and out or hokey music. No gimmick, no fuss, no muss.

Ron Paul’s pro-life views were strengthened by his experiences as an obstetrician. “I believe beyond a doubt that a fetus is a human life.”

However, he says that the federal government has no authority whatsoever to involve itself in the abortion issue. The founders never intended for social policy to be decided at the federal level. So, he opposes a federal ban on abortion. He says that Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided because abortion simply is not a constitutional issue. There is not a word in the text of the Constitution that conceivably addresses abortion. So, while Roe v. Wade is invalid, a federal law banning abortion across all 50 states would be equally invalid.

Under the 9th and 10th amendments, all authority over matters not specifically addressed in the Constitution remains with state legislatures. So, under a constitutional regime, the states handle such questions. New York and California, for example, would have legal abortion; Alabama and North Dakoka would not.

“Those who seek a pro-life culture must accept that we will never persuade all 300 million Americans to agree with us. No Supreme Court ruling by itself can instill greater respect for life.”

Okay, to put it simply:

Ron Paul says that the Constitution does not give the federal government the authority to LEGALIZE or BAN abortion. Therefore, it is up to the states to make their own laws on this subject.

Ron Paul, himself, being an obstetrician who has delivered over 4000 babies, does not personally approve of abortion.

But, he does not support using the federal government to legislate his views.

Okay, he gets it. He said he was just kidding when he said, "huh?"
