Priority Test

We often get in situations when we make decisions without a second thought and this is the right moment to find out what type of person we are.

If all of the following things were occurring simultaneously, in what order would you take care of them.

Think about what you will do first, then second and so on. Click on comments to see what it means. (And, let us all know how it turned out and if you think it is correct.)

The baby is crying.
The clothes are hanging outside and it has started to rain.
The water is running from the tap.
The doorbell is ringing.
The phone is ringing.

Each action reflects the priorities that you have set in your life. Take a look at the following table to see which priority corresponds to which action.

Attend the phone = Career and job

See who is at the door = Friends and relatives

Pick up the clothes = Sex

Attend the baby = Family

Switch the tap off = Wealth

For example if the first thing that you did was to answer the phone then your biggest priority in life would be your career and job. Similarly if the fourth thing that you did was to attend to the baby then your fourth priority would be your family.

I'd attend to the baby, everyone and everything else can wait.

...then I'd probably turn off the water, check caller ID on my way to the door and pick up the clothes later. I suppose that would be correct as far as my priorities. I mean, who has time to think about sex with all that chaos?! LOL

But, the real choices I make are these:

Attend the baby = Family/Relatives

Attend the phone = Career and job

Switch the tap off = Wealth

See who is at the door = Friends

Pick up the clothes = Sex

Maybe sex before friends. Yeah, that.

Grab the phone on the way to the baby. Take the baby and the phone to open the door to let the person in. Go turn the water off and worry about he clothes later.

Good, Tavia. Except the water just might be running over the sink onto the kitchen floor by the time you do the first three things. Shouldn't you also turn off the water on the way to the baby?
