This evening I was standing with Ledge in my arms. He was looking up at me and I was talking to him. Alyssa was standing beside me. I was looking right into his eyes, carrying on a one-sided conversation with him. And, then, there it was! His first smile! And, that was followed by another smile, and then another. So glad Alyssa was right there to see it. I loved it! I'm hooked.
Now, Great-grandma (Vivian), your mission is to produce his first real laugh, just like you did with Violet. See you at the end of the month.

Guess we wont see each other until later, I hope he doesnt laugh out loud till Im there to see and hear it! Hes a good looking boy!!!
