Tavia sent Violet the garden gloves. And also the carrot seeds. Here is the first carrot pulled. It tasted good. But, she's waiting for them to get bigger.

She's not looking real impressed with that carrot.
Well, at first she was kind of shocked when she pulled it up, and dropped it real quick. I think at first she thought it was some kind of a big worm. Alyssa and I assured her it was good. Then we took it in the house, washed it off and ate it. It wasn't as sweet as full grown carrots, but still good. They will be better when they get bigger.
I don't blame her for being a little freaked out. But now she won't be when she starts pulling up the full grown ones. She knows what it is all about now.

I can't believe this! This is so cute. I need to get her a new pair of gloves, I heard the ones I sent are too small.
