I've been asked the question: Who are you for? Obama or McCain? My answer: Neither one. Next question: Well, who would you rather see win? My answer: Neither one. Next question: Well, ONE of them is going to be our next president. So, which one is the lesser of two evils? My answer: I don’t know. How do you tell? It’s impossible to know which of the two major candidates will bring about the lesser police state.
Millions of Americans will cast their votes, but they will not vote FOR anyone. They will be voting AGAINST a candidate. It will be because of something they do NOT like in one of the candidates. They may not like Obama’s “socialism” or McCain’s “warmongering.” It won’t be because of anything they LIKE in either of the candidates.
Quite pathetic.
The lesser of two evils rarely is.
Administration after administration, whether it be Republican or Democrat, the size of government has increased.

My vote: NOTA (none of the above).
I think it is important to vote 3rd party. IF you like one of them.
Something funny, Maryann's dad is 90 years old. He has always, always voted Democrat. The other day he randomly said "I'm writing in Ron Paul." Maryann said, "where did you hear aboout Ron Paul?" He didn't answer (Maryann said because he hates talking politics).
She said "Dad, where did you get that idea?"
He said, "Because Ron Paul and Peter Schiff were the only ones who saw this economic collapse coming. That is why." And he walked away.
That is really something about Maryann's dad. Wonder how he knew that. Smart man! I would have DEFINITELY voted for a candidate (third party) if there was one worth voting for. But, there were none to like.
I just think if you don't vote, it might look like you don't care or heaven forbid you like them both. If you vote 3rd party, they know you are no buying their McBama nonsense.

Well, I voted. I sent in my ballot. I just didn't vote on the Presidency. I voted on the propositions. In the future, I will write in "none of the above" and mark that space. But, I don't think I should have voted third party just to be voting third party. I truly didn't like any of the third party candidates.
Lew Rockwell says, "This year especially there is no lesser of two evils. There is socialism or fascism. The true American spirit should guide every voter to have no part of either."
Why didn't you write Ron Paul in?

Here is what Ron says: "I don’t think that’s very productive. Supporters can do it, of course, but in most of the states it won’t count. And if they can change the rules in a primary and not count all the votes, imagine what they could do with write-in votes!"
