Unsold cars are being stored at ports all over the world

This is a picture of just one of the many shipping ports all over the world storing unsold cars. Sheerness Port, UK

Gary North says it is going to get much worse. We are only in the early stages of the crash.

The question is:
Why make them if no body is buying them? Just because you have capacity? That's just dumb.

Because they have to employ people you know. We can't just let 300,000 people lose their jobs. Let's keep them cranking out cars even if there isn't a buyer for them. The government must step in and prop the auto makers up so people can keep their jobs, man. Who cares if the cars just sit on the lots and collect dust? As long as people are working.....

Just Kidding.

Maybe they wouldn't miss one or two of those cars. I need one. Is there a dcok nearby, maybe I could sneak down there tonight.
