Violet was writing her numbers like this picture. Alyssa told her, "That's good, Violet, except that they are backwards." Violet replied, "Well, you can't tell that the 'one' is backwards."
This reminds me of the time a few months ago when Violet and I were coloring a picture of a unicorn. She asked me if unicorns really fly. I explained to her that there is really no such thing as a unicorn. She said, "So, we can't really tell."
