I am just loving reading these. So fuuny! So many good ones. But some are already taken like Stems is taken so is Petal pushers and Heaven Scent. I like Colors, and The Garden, Twig and twine is interesting, The Mall flower is hilarious! The reason I don't want my name on it is people will always be asking for "Alyssa" or asking every girl that works for me if they are Alyssa They expect you to be there if your name is on it, and I don't plan on being there all the time. I wanted to call it "The Flower Shop at Nordstrom" but they wouldn't let me! So I am considering just, "The Flower Shop" But I need to decide because they need the name to put it on the contract.
"Bud's Buds" would be a great name if a guy named Bud owned the shop.

Alyssa, I know you know what you are doing, but I can't help but wonder if you should think about using your own name, if the company would not object. "Alyssa's Flowers" seems perfect. Simple, straight forward, pleasant sounding, and appealing in every way. It makes your business personable, less cold and corporate.
Like Fort motor company - it didn't mean that Henry Ford was responsible for every car - it just meant that he was the founder and the mind behind it all. You have worked hard and have built up a following and this is an opportunity, I would think, to build for the future long term.
You have a special gift, a wonderful talent, and I think you should not be afraid to own it, to put your name right on it.
