Garrett, the place I have for you in my heart is all warm and cozy. I just love you more than YOU will ever know. I knew I loved you before, but NOW I know just how much. Happy Birthday, Garrett! Seems like every time I get on this blog, it's your birthday again! Didn't you just have a birthday a year ago? lol. Really Garrett, I can't believe you're EIGHTEEN! That's amazing. I used to think, "Just watch, when Garrett gets to be 18 he's going to think his aunts are so old, and won't want anything to do with us, or he'll be too busy to spend time with us like he used to." Now, your mission -- should you choose to accept it -- is to prove me wrong.

I love watching you now as you decide where you want to go and figure out how you're going to get there. I wish I was more like you...except, I'm funnier.

I didn't realize you were 18 now Garrett. I wonder if you feel any differently. I am nervous about you going into the military because our country is not the idealistic nation it once was, and I don't want you to get sucked into their meat grinder. So much corruption. But maybe it would turn out great for you. I knows it's your decision and if you choose that career for the next few years, I will be cheering and praying for you and your safety the whole way, as will everyone else. You are so loved!
