If any of you wish to sharpen your Badminton game, these shots are to be studied. First, let me point out all four pictures exhibit flawless form. One of the essential fundamentals of Badminton is good form-good form starts with good footwork. Please notice Leo’s smooth, gliding, big step in photo No. 2 – not an easy shot but Leo’s footwork makes it happen.

Champions have momentary steady/firm positions when they execute any shot (smashes, lobs etc). Bob displays the balance and grace of a champion all while demanding an accurate return.

All shots show something every Badminton competitor needs before stepping foot into the game: MT (mental toughness). MT is how well a person can cope with the pressure. Fear of losing to a tough opponent can cause stress in the mind which may cause muscles to tense up, which adversely affects gameplay.

Those are some darn tootin good action shots of some fine athletes. Last time I saw folks move like that was at the greased pig catching contest at the Tillybury county fair in Arkansas.
