It is painful to watch that Elizabeth girl. Her argument has no substance. "They want to kill Americans and Jews. it is that simple." That simple?

I can't believe there are people out there that still buy the story that the "terrorists hate us for our way of life."

She sounds so stupid and uninformed. Hard to watch.

She has absolutley nothing to say about the 655,000 dead Iraqis. It seems like it goes right over her head. She does not care. Then they mention another 3400 dead Americans and she gets upset.

Self centered, typical American fool.

That mentality is one of the reasons why Americans look so foolish to the rest of the world. We don't even know our own history!

Everyone must watch this video or you will be blacklisted from the blog. Anonymous said Ron Paul isn't dealing with a full deck. Watch this video, take notes and get back to us.

This video is very good, Tavia!
So much reason, logic, common sense! Not blind patriotism.

"The unanimous endorsement from the United Republicans of California proves what the campaign has been saying all along,” said campaign chairman Kent Snyder. “Ron Paul is the only true conservative and real Republican in the race".

Question for those who think terrorists hate us for our way of life:

If we were oppressed but our foreign policy was the same as it has been do you think September 11th would not have happened?

Anonymous said...

Surely there is no one who thinks that is why they hate us...

linnette said...

That's a good point, Tavia.
Neisha, Bush's favorite line is: "They hate us for our freedoms."

Did you see Ron Paul on Bill Maher Friday night? If not, here is a link:

Tavia, you are SMART. Really.

Anonymous said...

Are you a registered Republican? Isn’t Ron Paul a Republican? Are you going to vote for him?

Anonymous said...

I just registered to vote Libertarian the other day when I got my new license at the DMV. So I'll be voting for him--my first time ever.

linnette said...

Neisha: That's great!! Except for one thing ... Ron Paul is running as a Republican. And, you have to be registered as a Republican to vote for him in the primaries. Oh, well, he probably won't win the primaries, anyway. So, you can vote for the Libertarian Presidential candidate during the final election. You can change your party to Republican by filling out a new form. Then your vote will count where it is needed. Only Republicans can vote for Republicans in the primaries, only Democrats can vote for Democrats, etc. The winning candidate of the Republican party will be the one who runs for President. Guiliani is the front runner. Pathetic. So, if you want Ron Paul to be the one that runs for President, you have to register Republican and he has to win the primaries (which is a long shot). But, at least, he is making some people think!

Anonymous said...

If he is Libertarian, why is he running as a Republican? To get noticed and so people will be more apt to listen?

SoCalT said...

I can't believe Guiliani is the front runner. Hahahahahahahaa!!!

We need to get the pictures of him dressed like a woman up here.

What a joke

linnette said...

Yeah, Tavia! Find some pictures. Bill Maher had some of them on his show a few weeks back.

Neisha, he is a Republican Congressman, so that's probably why he is running as a Republican. Also, there are some state legislatures that make rules which makes it difficult for third-party candidates to appear on the ballots. However, if he loses the Republican nomination, he could run as a Libertarian (if he wanted to). The chance of a third-party winning a major election is almost zero, though.
