Sorry John! When Al was pregnant and for a month after Ledge was born, I fugured he would be another Robert. But either tht idea is fading or Linnette is using a picture of Uncle Louie when he was two months old. I have studied this portrait for more than hour. Look how serious he is! No doubt about it. The next big test will come on Saturday. April 26, when Ledge is 78 days old when we have taken pictures of Wylan, Jovian, Landan, Logan and Violet all wearing the same jump suit and blanket and looking straight into the cameras. Coincidentally, it will be taken on Uncle Lou's wedding day. Great Uncle Henry
Answer to Question: Our first grand nephew Wylan Yanes was born on Sept. 10, 1997 (9-10) and the following Thanksgiviong Day dinner I took him into the living room, put him in a sitting position, and took his picture. One pose was so terrific that I had it blown up to a poster size (20x30) and put it with my collection of photography. When Jovian was born on Nov. 12, 1999 (11-12), we took an identical photo of her with a white carnation on the green jump suit to show she was a girl. This started a tradition in which each photo of each child is pasted on the poster of Wylan to compare them with each other 78 days of age. I can keep track of Violet's birth because she has a 12-13 birthday. All of the pictures at 11 weeks really begin to show how they will look as kids and possibly as adults. It is very interesting. At the same age Leo had more of a round face than Lou and Brendan was a Gerber baby from the first day he was born. When Vianne was about 4 she was such a doll I put her picture in a political flyer to "Save the Park" in Redondo Beach. Uncle Hemry
Henry: Are the pictures of the other kids at 78 days old in a digital form? If so, can you email them to me? And, if they are not digital, can we scan them so we can post them here on the blog?
Uncle Henry, here we go. No, I say Ledge absolutely looks like my side of the family. JUST KIDDING of course! Alway nice to run into you online Uncle Henry! Well, I didn't study the picture for an hour and I haven't met Uncle Louie, but I've known Bob since high school. The second I saw that bottom picture Bob flashed in my mind. Those strong eyes, even the mouth. I know . . . maybe someone could put up baby pictures of Bob and Uncle Louie and we could compare. MAYBE that would help; then again, maybe it's just that "in the eye of the beholder" thing. ha.

Those are so cute. Oh they are sweet. Violet is so good. Where is the video of her changing his diaper?
She looks at him so lovingly. I can't wait to see them both together.

I see a resemblance to Bob, his grandfather.
Is that why you didn't say he was cute John? Just kidding Bob.

I've always thought he looks like Leo.
Why do you take pictures when the babies are exactly 78 days old?
